Day Three - Atlanta Trip

Being in Buckhead
Day three is all about Buckhead. Head to the Ritz-Carlton and have an extravagant breakfast at The Cafe. Or you could venture on over the White House for some Southern dining uniquely coupled with Greek inspirations.
Atlanta History Center
If you're traveling mid-week, a free tour of the Georgia Governor's Mansion is always a historic experience. Next up are some botanical splendors at the Atlanta History Center complex. You can stroll through Tullie Farms, Cherry Sims Gardens and the Swan House and just marvel in sheer grandeur of nature. Also featured here is the Atlanta History Museum with where you can learn about a pivotal events in American history from the Civil War to the Civil Rights Movement.
Lunch
Inside the Atlanta History Center, you can grab a bite eat at the Coca Cola Café. They've got a selection of freshly made soups and tasty subs. Or you could head over to the Swan Coach House and sip a spot of iced tea. The chicken salad is quite delectable as well. Just a heads up, this place is quite snazzy, so be sure to sport your best threads to get in.
Gallery Perusing
Now it's time to see the art galleries. Check out contemporary art at Timothy Twe and the Trinity Gallery. View fascinating photographs at Jackson Fine Art. Visit the Connell Gallery, famous for its American crafts showcase.
Shopping Round Town
If you're searching for some rather unique and unusual Atlanta-only shops then Lenox Square is the place to be. You can also shop it up in a number of department stores. If you're searching for the elegance of Saks Fifth Ave or the Parisian, then head to Phipps Plaza.
Dinnertime
Two great spots to choose from are Prime and BluePointe. Prime offers mouth watering steaks and sushi. BluePointe has been recognized as one of Atlanta's best.
After three fun-filled days you've explored Atlanta's history, eaten at some delicious restaurants and gotten a feel for what Atlanta's all about. So, when y'all comin' back?
